Let's talk turkey—but actually, let's talk about life.
Magic happens in our homes, in our kitchens, and in our stomachs. Life itself is magic, and here we will spend a little time skipping together through this adventure we call living—virtually, and only for a moment.
Magic in its simplest form is created through presence, awareness, intention, & action. We will explore various tools to allow us to remember our ability to create, which is magic, miracle, energy and choice, all wrapped into one. We will look at the static, drag, smutz, and resistance that arises during that process and various ways to move with, around, through, over, and sometimes pause in it, to enable us to move more fully into the remembrance of choice and the personal power we wield over our own perceptions and creations.
That is all we truly have: moments of wonder and magic. I am honored that you have chosen to spend one of yours here.
This meeting place will be a child's walk—not in its content, but in its breadth. Children take forever to reach a destination because they become absorbed in the wonder and possibility of the rock they just found, the stick that becomes a wand, or the cloud shaped like a dinosaur.
In the end, all of our destinations are the same. We return our souls to the collective and our bodies to the earth, completing the cycle. Along the way, however, we are given the opportunity to settle into the magic of life through our senses.
As adults living in a fast-paced world that demands obedience, fear, attention, and laundry—ugh—we still have the opportunity to pause and ponder. We can allow ourselves to be filled with wonder and reclaim some of the childlike innocence that makes the journey far richer than the television pundits would have us believe.
